Fukuoka is a great thinker to have in the back of our minds, just to remind us that action is not always necessary. But indeed, not always very practical to apply. And pruning is a rather fun activity, isn't it?
The orchard image was taken a few years ago. I need to give it an overhaul, because some of the perennials are starting to dominate and taking over...my own design flaw I guess :)

I wouldn’t call it a flaw - think of it as an evaluation and a tweak after succession has occurred in your orchard design 😃
